Trim-a-tree Ltd Christmas tree hire terms and conditions

  1. We reserve the right to revise prices and details at any time.
  2. As natural products, all tree sizes are approximate and all shape, density and colour may vary. As such, we will not accept responsibility for any tree not meeting expectation in these respects. However, we do ensure that you will receive a high quality tree.
  3. All items advertised by Trim-a-tree Ltd are subject to availability.
  4. All design, text and imagery on www.trim-a-tree.co.uk is copyright of Trim-a-tree Ltd, except for inserts supplied by other bodies (as indicated).
  5. Trim-a-tree Ltd reserves the right to decline service to any individual.
  6. Please check your order carefully before submitting. We cannot be held responsible for user errors.
  7. Incorrect usage of lights resulting in faults is not the responsibility of Trim-a-tree Ltd.
  8. Trim-a-tree Ltd reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time upon giving advance notice.
  9. Trim-a-tree Ltd web server uses reliable encryption technology on its checkout facilities, and we value your privacy. Your details will not be passed to any third party (unless you use PayPal for your payment). However, Trim-a-tree Ltd cannot and will not be held responsible for any security breech resulting from DOS (Denial Of Service) attacks, viruses, or any other type of unauthorised malicious attack.
  10. Trim-a-tree Ltd is a VAT registered company.

  12. Upon receipt of your order we will confirm delivery and collection dates. If possible please advise at the point of order any special requirements i.e. Trim-a-tree Ltd vehicle and personnel details that you may have regarding delivery, installation and collection of the tree.
  13. Trim-a-tree Ltd guarantees all live Nordmanniana trees for 21 days from date of delivery in normal office conditions. Should the tree drop excessive amount of needles, we will replace the tree free of charge. No guarantee is offered for trees placed near heating or air conditioning outlets.
  14. All prices include delivery, installation, removal and recycling of Christmas tree/s unless otherwise specified and are exclusive of VAT.
  15. Full payment is to be received prior to delivery from all non-account customers by BACS or cheque.
  16. Should you wish to cancel your standard (up to 10ft high trees) tree/order at least two weeks prior to delivery; we will make a 20% administration charge.
  17. Cancellations in the two weeks prior to delivery will be charged at 80% of the tree/order value. Cancellation for above 10ft high trees or special projects i.e. where we have purchased decorations, lights etc specifically for you will be subject to 80% charge once the order has been confirmed.
  18. All decorated trees will be supplied with white lights unless specified otherwise.
  19. All our lights will be new or PAT tested prior to delivery and will be in good working order. In the unlikely event of lights failing we will make every effort to replace them within 24 hours. RCD's are recommended.
  20. Power is to be supplied to the base of the tree, Trim-a-tree Ltd can supply extension leads at additional charge but they must be plugged in/installed by the client.
  21. All decorations, lights, pots and trees remain property of Trim-a-tree Ltd
  22. Trim-a-tree Ltd are not responsible for any hazards which may arise from the customers chosen location of the tree or for any hazards arising from changes to the tree, lights or decorations after installation.
  23. The Client shall indemnify Trim-a-tree Ltd and keep them indemnified from and against loss or damaged caused by or to the Christmas tree, lights, decorations, garlands etc. during the hiring.
  24. We can supply risk assessments and method statements for Christmas tree installation and removal upon request.
